OSHA, Florida East Coast Chapter of the Associated General Contractors To Sign Renewal C.H.A.S.E. Partnership to Protect Construction Workers

Signing Ceremony Scheduled for Monday, June 22, in West Palm Beach

 

West Palm Beach, FL --- Reducing construction worker injuries, illnesses and fatalities is the goal of a partnership between the U.S. Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Florida East Coast Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).  The signing ceremony is scheduled for 8:00 a.m., June 22, at the Associated General Contractors of America’s Florida East Coast Chapter.

 

“This Construction Health And Safety Excellence (C.H.A.S.E.) partnership is being renewed and extends the voluntary cooperative relationship between OSHA and the AGC to eliminate serious hazards,” said Darlene Fossum, OSHA’s Ft. Lauderdale area director. “Working together strengthens the goal of industry and government to protect workers.”

 

Fossum will sign the agreement for OSHA and FEC AGC President Bob Schafer and Michelle Anaya DePotter, Executive Director will sign for the AGC.
