AGC FEC Safety Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the AGC FEC Safety Committee is to support its member companies by providing services, resources, and information that help reduce workplace injuries, illnesses, and fatalities across the construction industry. The committee promotes continuous safety program enhancement through best practices, increased safety awareness, training, education, and the development of an industry-wide culture of safety and care.

Through leadership, advocacy, and open communication, the committee advances a sustainable safety culture while keeping members informed of regulatory changes and statutory requirements that impact the construction community—ultimately fostering safer workplaces and stronger communities. Recognizing that true safety extends beyond physical protection, the committee also prioritizes mental health and suicide prevention as integral elements of worker well-being.
